With Great Appreciation

With great appreciation do I accept an invitation to be an admin on this blog. I want to take a few lines to introduce myself and provide a solid background so as to illustrate my personality. As you can see, my name is Scott (Brinton) Whitecar. This surname is shrouded in mystery, and by many, in admiration. Pronounced in a similar manner as the sensibly spelt "Whittaker", my misfortune can be attributed to a lack of literate intelligence on the part of my ancestors. Dispite this, I take great pride in my family name and family history, and am willing to defend this honorable name to any extent. I hail from small town North Carolina, Aberdeen to be exact. Needless to say, this small town has great association with the famed Pinehurst, a golf resort town with much prestige. With eyes wide open in oblivion I ventured to the frontier, the west, to attend this great institution known as BYU. To my surprise, my associations with American culture (ex. public drunkeness, confederate flags, homeless people with hundred dollar golf clubs) have taken a new light, as Utah seems to have its own self contained culture, one in which I view with awe and respect. Although I could provide much analysis on this culture, my goal is to display this great state in all of its quirkiness through cataloguing the ongoings of the Dude Ranch.
