Webb of Deception

This post could have been about how great Matt Webb was. It could have been an eloquent expression of the deep bonds of friendship we have cultivated in these few short weeks. It could have been a stunningly appropriate and public thank you to the man who bought me a Kurt Cobain Poster and gave it to me two weeks before my birthday.

But it's not.

All of that changed when Mr. Webb decided it would be funny to walk into my room (admittedly partly my fault due to a lack of security on the premises) and walk out with a number of precious items (stereo, guitar, basketball shoes, hello kitty lunch box etc.). His excuse: It was an exercise in the importance of precautionary room protection measures. My thoughts: lame. Mr. Webb was accompanied by one Scott Whitecar. Scott, it's not too late for forgiveness. I know you were a pawn in Matt's scheme. Apologize now and punishment will be mild.

(Actual satellite photograph of Matt Webb leaving my room. Not pictured: Scott Whitecar)

Matt Webb, if you're out there, you face all the wrath of an angry Nick Hales. You've been warned. Also I need my auxiliary cable back still. Got to have my music.

  1. Probably the funniest thing I've read all week.
