As promised, here is the initiatory statement of The Dude Ranch Chronicles. We the brethren of Budge Hall declare a commitment to camaraderie, academics, and Mario Kart. In preparing this blog, the main purpose is to unashamedly display our creativity and uniqueness. Additionally, there are a number of happenings in The Dude Ranch that we feel the world deserves to hear about. In order to keep you informed and to showcase our endeavors, we hereby create this blog.

First and foremost, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Scott Whitecar on being Man of the Week on the Budge 2200 hall. This is an honor we do not give out lightly. What, you may ask, did Mr. Whitecar do to merit such an accolade? In the face of rudeness and brutality Scott Brinton Whitecar calmly confronted a power hungry zealot and defended the gentlemen of The Dude Ranch. I hesitate to share details for fear that the offender may some day stumble upon this blog. You know who you are. Should said zealot someday come forth with a spirit of contrition we will forgive him unconditionally.

On a more revelrous and festive note, we would like to invite all interested parties (especially ladies) to swing by the Dude Ranch on Wednesday September 2nd, between the hours of 7 and 9. Coincidentally those are the hours when women are allowed. There will be music, laughter, and jean jackets with the sleeves cut off. What else are you gonna do?
